Onboarding Process

The onboarding process at ecrop is divided into four steps and designed to get you started with our platform as quickly as possible. We accompany you at every step and support you with our support team.
  1. Registration and Product Selection:
    • Visit our web portal at [Web Portal] and begin registration.
    • Select the desired products: Crypto Securities Register, Crypto Custody, or both.
  2. Verification (KYC/AML Process): As a regulated financial institution, we are subject to the strict requirements of the Money Laundering Act (GwG). Therefore, identity verification is required for all users.
    • Provide your company information and contact person details. (Indication of required fields in the registration form)
    • Confirm registration. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to verify your email address. This step is necessary to ensure you have access to the provided email address.
    • As a regulated financial institution, we are subject to the strict requirements of the Money Laundering Act (GwG). Therefore, identity verification is required for all users.
    • Legal Foundations: Identity verification is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the GwG, the Crypto Asset Transfer Regulation, and the Money Laundering Act.
    • Automated Identity Verification: The KYC/AML process is fully automated and conducted in cooperation with our partner Deutsche Post.
    • Secure Data Transmission: Upload required documents securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. We ensure the protection of your data according to GDPR. Privacy Policy Link
    • Real-time Status Display: Track the status of your verification process in real-time.
  3. Setup and Configuration: After successful verification, you can set up and configure your ecrop account.
    • Access Credentials: Set a secure password and activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for additional protection.
    • Generate API Keys: Generate API keys for accessing the ecrop API.
    • Notifications and Settings: Configure individual notification settings and customize settings according to your needs.
  4. Sandbox Testing and Support: Before deploying the ecrop platform in the production environment, you can test all functions in our sandbox environment.
    • Risk-free Testing: The sandbox environment provides you with an isolated environment where you can test the platform without risk to your production data.
    • Test Data: Use pre-made test data or upload your own test data to simulate various scenarios.
    • Comprehensive Support: Our qualified support team is available to assist you during the testing phase with advice and guidance.
